Lorel May Dandava

Fisheries Officer

 
Ms. Lorel Dandava is a coastal fisheries scientist with over 13 years of experience in delivering strategic management in operations, marine resource and fisheries stock assessments, capacity building, project management and cross functional communication from the national to the community level stakeholder relationships in the coastal and inshore fisheries space.
Ms Dandava has a master’s degree in tropical aquatic ecology from the Bremen University in Germany and has recently joined the MSG secretariate as the fisheries officer in the ECCNRM Program. 
She has extensive experience in coastal fisheries policy and management plan development and the implementation of these plans and the ability to effectively manage and lead a team for efficient production. 
She is very passionate and dedicated in her field of work and always strives to deliver in whatever capacity she is in and ultimately contributing to the greater efforts in ensuring long term sustainability of our marine and fisheries resources.
