The Trade and Economic Development (TED) Programme is being passionately led under the able leadership of Mr Joshua Kaile of Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The programme is primarily responsible for providing trade and investment policy advice to Members and the Secretariat including overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the Secretariat’s TI&ED Programme.

The Programme’s four (4) key strategic priority areas include:

1. MSG Trade Agreement 2 – Melanesian Free Trade Agreement (MFTA);
2. Post-PITAP and Trade-Com Implementation;
3. MSG Private Sector Development (PSD) Programme; and
4. Pacific Regional Integration Support Project (PRISE) under 11^th Economic Development Fund (EDF)
