Dr Gregoire Nimbtik
Deputy Director General
Dr Gregoire Nimbtik began his career in Vanuatu’s public service as Deputy Director of the Vanuatu Comprehensive Reform Program (CRP) in 1998. In July 2004, he was appointed as the Director of the Department of Strategic Policy, Planning, and Aid Coordination at the Ministry of Prime Minister. He has been working with Vanuatu Government as a Director General of the Ministry of Prime Minister from 2017 until 22 September 2022.
In 2012, he was awarded an Australian Leadership Award for his Ph.D. at RMIT University. Dr Gregoire also holds a Master of Development Administration from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the South Pacific.
He is currently employed by the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) as the Deputy Director General
