Deputy Director General

Mr. George Hoa’au is the Deputy Director General from the Solomon Islands. He took up position in March 2020 for a term of three years. He brings with him immense experience as former Assistant Secretary of Foreign Affairs and External Trade in the Solomon Islands government. To this end, he has served as head of Asia and Pacific branch, United Nations and Treaties branch, and Regional Economic Cooperation branch. He has also served as Under Secretary for Health and Medical Services in the Solomon Islands
